A quiet practice, mindfully run

Stillpoint exists to offer chiropractic care that feels calm, considered and genuinely individual.

Our philosophy

Gentle. Precise. Balanced. Still.

We believe care should be unhurried, honest and tailored to the person in front of us. Nothing here is one-size-fits-all.

Meet Your Chiropractor: Dr. Hannah Cork

McTimoney Chiropractor

Hannah gained her master’s degree in chiropractic from the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in Oxfordshire, England. She lived and worked for many years in her hometown in rural Worcestershire, with her American husband and their three cats, serving their community and the wider area of The Cotswolds. In 2023 due to family circumstances, they made the huge decision to move across the Atlantic to be closer to her husband’s family.

Her cats have not entirely forgiven her for the journey.

In addition to her chiropractic training, she is certified in Kinesio taping techniques, laser therapy, advanced soft tissue manipulation techniques and dry needling. She is also certified to perform the Epley Manoeuvre for vertigo.

Your first appointment

What to expect on your first visit

An unhurried hour, a careful examination, and a clear plan — with nothing done without your consent.

History & conversation

An initial consultation is usually an hour long. You should have already completed the intake forms, and the chiropractor will go over your history with you, asking relevant questions about the problem you have come in with.

Physical examination

A physical exam follows, including postural assessment and range of motion. Some screening tests will be performed, with additional testing if required depending on your symptoms.

Treatment, with your consent

Provided there are no red flags suggesting treatment is inappropriate, she will go ahead and provide some treatment, with your consent. If there is anything she is concerned about she may refer for imaging first, or in rare cases may need to refer you to another, more appropriate, provider.

Report of Findings

Your follow-up appointment a week later is a Report of Findings, providing you with the diagnosis, care plan and your second treatment.
